Cool Video: One Dimension of China's Water Challenge

This Cool Video is from one of China's state-own television networks, CCTV. Unexpectedly for many observers, it does not always whitewash the news. This 2.5 minute video reports on the impact of China's over use of ground water and the sink holes it produces in its wake. China faces numerous social, economic and financial challenge, and as formidable as these are, its water challenge may be more profound. It is home to 20% of the world's population, but has less than 8% of the world's fresh water supply. Moreover, as China dams its rivers to produce electricity, it will be aggravating the water challenges of its neighbors.
